About

Steve Beaumont

Steve graduated from Fort Hays State University in 1988 with his bachelors degree in Education and from Kansas State University in 1996 with his Masters in Education Technology. After thirty one years of being a successful educator and coach, Steve decided it was time to pursue a new challenge – opening his own home inspection business.

Steve is a certified (AHIT) home inspector, but more importantly, he is committed to building a quality inspection business that his customers can rely on and trust. In addition to his certification, Steve has recently passed his National Home Inspection Exam (NHIE) to further build his knowledge and skills. In the near future, he plans to add mold inspection and radon measurement to the list of services offered to customers.

“Every home has a story to tell. As a home inspector, it’s my job to tell the story that needs to be told.” -Steve Beaumont

Training & Professional Affiliations

American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI)

ASHI is the most respected professional association for home inspectors in North America. Through ASHI’s continued efforts, ASHI’s Standards of Practice are now part of many pieces of state legislation and are recognized by consumers as the authoritative standard for professional home inspection.  The Mission of ASHI is to set and promote standards for property inspections and to provide the educational programs needed to achieve excellence in the profession. When you choose an ASHI inspector, you’ll be working with professional home inspectors who have passed the most rigorous technical examinations in effect today.

Certified Mold Inspector

A Certified Mold Inspector (CMI) is a specialist who has been professionally trained to assess both the presence of microbial contamination, and the source of any underlying moisture intrusion. The CMI certification recognizes the Certified Mold Inspector as having exhibited a proficiency of knowledge required to perform a professional microbial assessment.

Background Verified Inspector (BVI)

To help bring you peace of mind in knowing that the inspector entering your home does not have a criminal record, the ASHI Background Verified Inspector program conducts a background check on the inspectors entering your home. Inspectors with this certification can be trusted, and homeowners can relax knowing that their family and their belongings are safe.  The Background Verified Inspector program is available only to American Society of Home Inspectors who voluntarily undergo a criminal background check using Sterling Talent Solutions.
